Hola!
So now that I have shared with you guys about my DTS experience and all that has happened with in the last 6-8 months I would like to share with you all "What's next."
I graduated from my DTS in New York, March 8, 2013. It was definitely a bitter sweet good-bye for us all, but God was good.
I came home shortly after that and spent alot of time praying and asking the Lord what the next step is for me. As I prayed many opportunities came up, some in the states and some over seas, but God made very clear what He wanted me to do.
God called me to New York way back in 2008. He put an overwhelming desire in my heart for New York and all those people. I knew than that someday I would be returning. I realized that God didn't put New York in my heart for no good reason. =)
Also, while I was DTS I spent the whole 3 months of lecture phase praying and fasting asking God to give me a nation a people, somewhere to go once I graduated. I was free and open to go wherever God would send me, but through out the whole time God was silent. It wasn't until I got to China that He revealed Himself to me. He reminded me through an English speaking Chinese woman, that God said, "THE" nations not just "A" nation. Which totally made since why God wasn't saying anything to me. It was because He has called me to go to many places. So having all that in my head and praying about where to go, this is what God said.
I will be returning to YWAM Metro New York as part of the Frontier Missions Department. I will be living there in NY on the base for the next committed 2 years. In the future I hope to be leading teams to nations around the world with people who are unreached with the gospel. But in the mean time I will be working with immigrants who have come from other nations to the New York City area. I will most likely be leaving for this adventure the first part of January 2014.
If you have any questions or would like to financially sponsor me, send me a message and I would love to connect with you.
Thank you all for all you do! You are such a blessing!
